Description
Guillaume Sorel - Murder Scene Original Art (1985). The French-born illustrator Sorel, acclaimed for his dynamic imagery in the realms of horror and Arthurian fantasy, delivers a harrowing, large-scale study reminiscent of his interest in the Gothic horrors of Hammer Films of Great Britain. The cinematic construction of the drawing fortifies the Hammer resemblance. An early work, here, dating from the year Sorel joined the National School of Fine Arts in Paris.
