Gray Morrow - Mal from Mark Hazzard: Merc Character Sketch Illustration Original Art (undated). Gray Morrow worked on Mark Hazzard: Merc for nearly half the issues, providing the pencils. Here we have a character sketch of Mal Rossi, Mark Hazzard's oldest and closest friend. The story goes that Mal couldn't deal with an ordinary life, became alcoholic and lecherous, but was saved by Mark who offered his friend a steady job using his combat skills. Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is light toning, corner creasing, and small spots of foxing.
