Glenn Fabry Daredevil: The Target #1 Cover and Complete 22-Page Story Original Art (Marvel, 2003). An incredible painted cover and complete hard-hitting and gut-wrenching Daredevil story by renown British artist Glenn Fabry. With a large, opening headshot of Daredevil, followed by highly-detailed cityscapes, including an impressive two-page splash reminiscent of the great Geof Darrow, and ending with a disturbing image of Bullseye, Fabry created a unique vision never-before seen in a Daredevil story. Known for his gritty realism, he provided the cover and interior art for this first and only issue of the uncompleted series written by Kevin Smith. The cover is rendered in oil on illustration board at an image size of 10.5" x 15.25", and the story pages are ink over graphite on Bristol board with image areas of approximately 9" x 14". The boards have white paint art corrections, with Page 1 having an art correction paste-up. Light edge and handling wear. Overall, in Excellent condition.Auction Info
