    Description

Gil Kane and Dave Cockrum X-Men #95 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1975). This is the earliest cover of the "All-New, All-Different" X-Men we have ever handled! It was only the third regular comic cover featuring this team (counting Giant-Size X-Men #1). Thunderbird gets a nice position down in front on this cover for the story "Warhunt!" on what was his first and only appearance on the cover of the regular title. (He dies in this issue!) The revitalized X-Men would quickly become Marvel's cash cow, surpassing every other title in sales. This cover is produced in ink over graphite on Sparta World Color Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". The title and masthead, and the cover blurb and caption box below are all original stat paste-up. The logo and masthead are pasted on a top section of Bristol board that was pasted over the main board and it has some original art to tie it into the main image. There is a staple in the top left corner margin, tanning and glue residue in the top paste-ups, and the stats are slightly curling. Overall this is in Very Good condition.
