    Description

George Perez and Mike Esposito The Avengers #144 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1976). Patsy Walker and the Avengers try to find their way through Brand Corp. on this title page from the story "Claws!", the first issue in which Patsy Walker takes on the masked identity of Hellcat! Classic George Perez artwork as he weaves a maze of beams, girders, and technology, sparing no detail to create the dizzying layout. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The slightly toned board has discolored header and indicia paste-ups, tape residue on the top and bottom edges, with some staining and handling wear. In Very Good condition.
