    George Herriman Krazy Kat Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 5-31-42 (King Features Syndicate, 1942). Mr. Kenga Roo and his extended family drive Krazy Kat to great and grand distraction, in the uproarious final panel to a wonderfully wacky Krazy Kat Sunday. This classic showcases Krazy, with cameos by Ignatz and Mrs. Kwak Wak. This delightful strip showcases George Herriman's distinctive pen work, his "word jazz," and his hallmark surrealistic, shifting desert landscapes. The art has an image area of 14" x 22", and the strip was attached to 18.5" x 27" illustration board. Aside from some light aging, the art is in Excellent condition.
