    Description

George Herriman Krazy Kat Sunday Comic Strip Original Art dated 4-2-22 (King Features Syndicate, 1922). The radio craze has taken hold of Coconino County and the whole community of George Herriman's colorful characters listens in on Ignatz's order for a new brick from Kollin Kelly. And so, the eternal unrequited love triangle between Krazy Kat, Ignatz Mouse, and Offisa Pupp continues in this uproarious Sunday from the twenties, This classic and character-rich episode has the added bonus of coming directly from the Herriman Estate -- one of only a handful of Sundays that were especially selected as great examples of the artist's cartooning genius, and thus held back from ever being on the market. It has an image area of 19" x 21.5", and the art is in Excellent condition.
