    Description

George Evans and Jack Kamen Tales from the Crypt #33 Complete 7-Page Story "This Trick'll Kill You!" Original Art (EC, 1952). An unusual art combination here, as Kamen did not typically ink other artists' pencils for EC. This tale of horror shows that if you give some people enough rope, they will hang themselves. The Crypt-Keeper strings us along with the obligatory opening and closing puns that frame this yarn, they will keep you tied up for a bit! Rendered twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 18". The logo, story title, and image of the Crypt-Keeper on Page 1 are stat paste-ups. There are some hand-lettered paste-ups. Ol' Crypty in the last panel of the story is a stat paste-up also. The lightly toned pages are in Excellent condition.
