    Description

George Evans and Harvey Kurtzman Frontline Combat #11 Complete 6-Page Story "Lufbery" Original Art (EC, 1953). For many fans, Harvey Kurtzman's finest works are his legendary war stories -- his search for hard-hitting realism revolutionized the genre. Kurtzman put so much time, care, and effort into his research, his income suffered due to the meticulous production demands. To make matters worse, his health suffered during this period due to a bout of jaundice. As a result, Kurtzman's war stories, first-rate masterpieces of comic book storytelling, are limited in number. As for George Evans, he was an expert who loved to draw WWI dogfights. Each page from this biopic about American Ace Raoul Lufbery has an image area of 13" x 18", and the art is in Excellent condition.
