    Description

    Gene Colan Howard the Duck Daily Comic Strip Original Art Dated 7-9-77 (Marvel and Tribune Syndicate, 1977). This offbeat daily sets the story for the mind-controlling madness that would follow in the next episodes, written by Howard's creator, Steve Gerber. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14.5" x 4.5". The board is toned, and all text are hand-lettered discolored paste-ups and a stripped-in correction in Panel 2. Missing paste-up in last panel with adhesive residue, and title is stat paste-up. Signed in top area and in Very Good condition.
