Gene Colan (as Adam Austin) and Bill Everett Tales to Astonish #79 Namor Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1966). Prince Namor, the Sub-Mariner, is the target of attention on the first page of the Stan Lee story "When Rises the Behemoth!" It's a great twice-up scale page inked by Namor's own original creator, Mr. Bill Everett! Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 12.5" x 18.75". The top header banner stat is missing, leaving glue residue. The "arrow" caption at the bottom has been trimmed out of the board and moved, with a patch affixed to the back of the board to cover it. In Very Good condition.
