    Gene Colan and Tom Palmer Howard the Duck #17 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1977). On this cover to the origin of "Dr. Bong", swashbuckling action from Marvel's favorite cigar-chomping waterfowl, swinging from a chandelier to rescue Beverly from a table surrounded by the villain's legion of Mutates. Rendered in ink over graphite on Marvel cover stock Bristol board with an image size of 9.75" x 14.25". The page is lightly toned with logo and header stat paste-ups. The text is hand-lettered paste-ups, there are minor spot stains in the image area, and a staple and staple holes in the top left corner. In Excellent condition.
