Gahan Wilson and Roz Chast - Cartoon Illustration Original Art Group of 2 (c. 1960s-70s). Two pieces by renown cartoonists--MAD Magazine and horror-fantasy artist Gahan Wilson, and The New Yorker and award-winning artist Roz Chast. Gahan imagines a gaunt Abraham Lincoln as a used-car huckster, delivering the sales pitch in the archaic language of Lincoln's day in the 6.75" x 8.5" gag illustration, rendered in ink over graphite on paper. Chast shows the products in someone's food cabinet, in her simple and recognizable style, created in ink and wash over graphite on Bristol with an image size of 7" x 9.5". No publishing pedigree is documented for either piece. Light toning and handling wear; corner creases and tape on the Gahan piece; rippling and adhesive residue on the Chast art. Overall in Very Good condition.

More Information: EDIT: Added Roz Chast information and description.
