Fred Schrier Playboy "Meaty Myths - Honesty... the Bedrock of Marriage" Comic Strip Original Art (HMH, undated).
The boss's after-hours tryst with his shapely secretary may not be the only affair going on, in this "Playboy Funnies" strip by Fred Schrier. Fred made his name as an Underground Comix artist in the 1960s-70s, working in tandem with the late Dave Sheridan to create some of the wildest and most imaginative comic books to be found in that medium. In the 1980s, he moved on to Playboy with this Polly and Her Pals-inspired strip. The art is in ink and watercolor with airbrushed highlights on illustration board measuring 20" x 10". Image size is approximately 18.75" x 7.5". Excellent condition.
