    Frank R. Paul Sirius Mining Machine Preliminary Painting Original Art (undated). The legendary illustrator Frank R. Paul depicts a scene of what life might be like on a planet orbiting the star Sirius in the Canis Major system, including an elaborate machine for mining precious minerals. Exact usage unknown. As an added bonus, the reverse has a hand-written sheet by Paul, detailing information about the star, and the painting itself. Mixed media on illustration board, the piece measures 7" x 10" and the art is in Very Good condition.
