Frank Miller and Brian Stelfreeze Comics Interview #82 RoboCop Painted Cover Original Art (Fictioneer Books Ltd., 1990). This landmark piece represents the only time that Miller had drawn Robocop to that point. In the interview in the magazine the artist says, "I drew [Robocop] in my first presentation piece, it's going to make the cover of this Comics Interview. He's wonderful as a movie character." Of course, Miller co-wrote the screenplay for the film RoboCop 2. Stelfreeze took Miller's incendiary action drawing and added awesome, 3-D, kick-butt color. This dynamic masterpiece has an overall size of 10" x 14.5", and the art is in Excellent condition. Also included with this lot are the cover production type (mounted on an acetate overlay), and a copy of the printed magazine. "He's back to protect the innocent."
