Frank Bolle Tim Holt #4 Complete 7-page Story "The Telegrapher at Trotter's Creek" Original Art (Magazine Enterprises, 1949). Sabotage against a town's communications system finds frontier hero Tim Holt ready to intervene. The character is modeled after the RKO-Radio Pictures star, who toplined nearly 50 matinee Westerns. Holt's comic-book series was similarly popular, running for 41 issues. The present story anticipates the actor's 1951 movie, Overland Telegraph. Bolle's dynamic artwork conveys a three-dimensional illusion, with deep-perspective compositions. Each Bristol board page (ink over graphite) has an image area measuring approximately 12.5" x 18". Some paper toning in contrast to pure-white painted retouching; average Very Good condition.

    More Information: "Toning" reference clarified.
