Don Heck and Steve Mitchell Spider-Man Magazine #9 Story Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1995). This is the title page for what would sadly be Don Heck's last known published work for Marvel Comics. Fittingly, it was an Iron Man story, as he was a co-creator for the character. Heck also got in a lot of good experience drawing the character in the many issues of Iron Man and The Avengers that he drew over the years. This story featured Tony Stark wearing his Mark-11 armor (which appeared in the Iron Man animated cartoon). This mass market magazine was designed as a tie-in for Marvel's animated cartoon series, and it featured original comic stories, along with articles, games, and puzzles. The page was rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10.75" x 14.5". The log and header text are stat paste-ups. In Excellent condition.
