Description

Dick Flood Worker's Plight Editorial Comics Panel Original Art (San Jose Mercury, c. 1970s). A fine example of Flood's ability to crystallize complex issues in one straightforward drawing -- in the case, the prevalent disparity between wages and spending power. From a year-in-review edition of Flood's home-base newspaper. Signed at lower margin. Ink and crayon over graphite on kid-finish Bristol board. Image area, 8.5" x 13". Excellent condition.
