    Description

Dick Dillin and Joe Giella Justice League of America #96 Page 23 Original Art (DC, 1972). The coming of -- Starbreaker! And the going of Starbreaker also, as this is from the end of the story. Really great Bronze Age page from a classic period of JLA history, featuring Adam Strange. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". There is some tanning on the outside edges, but the center of the page is remarkably white for a page from 1972. Top edge slightly trimmed, production tape at bottom margin. In overall Excellent condition.

I have done a preliminary analysis and the total of the hammer prices was $67,550. With BP, the final figure was $80,722.25. That is against the total insurance value of $34,785 or 2.32 x ‘pre-auction estimate’. Incredible, really, so a big thanks.
