Dave Johnson 100 Bullets #12 Steranko Homage Cover Original Art (DC/Vertigo, 2000). Dave Johnson re-creates the classic cover from Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. #4 by renowned artist Jim Steranko, for the award-winning noir-style comic, featuring Minuteman Dizzy Cordova. Johnson really captures the "psychedelic" feel of the original, a style which Steranko pioneered in the late 1960s. Created at "1 up" scale in gouache over graphite on Bristol board with an image size of 7.25" x 9.75". The central figure is original art while the remaining art is printed paste-ups, with the title header printed on a separate flip sheet. In Excellent condition.
