    Description

Dave Gibbons Watchmen #8 Story Page 24 Nite Owl and Rorschach Original Art (DC, 1987). Nite Owl helps an escaped Rorschach evade the police via the Owl Ship hidden in his basement. A classic scene from the comic, and a classic scene from the movie! There are just not enough nice things you can say about Gibbons' art in this series. Fantastic linework, wonderful perspective and anatomy, and layouts that move the story along, using the very subtle techniques of film edits. Compare Panel 2 to Panel 3... notice the similar body positions? That's not an accident, that's pure skill. Produced in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.75". The board is lightly toned from a previous framing. In otherwise Excellent condition.
