    Dan Adkins Doctor Strange #171 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1968). Stephen Strange is menaced by the deadly hands of Dormammu on this stunning cover from early in the series, by Adkins, whose work on the character continued after the title changed from Strange Tales with issue #169. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Paste-up title and corner box elements. Adhesive residue below the corner box, light toning, an area of dark toning to the left of Strange's leg, punch holes at the top and bottom borders, smudges and light spot stains along the edges, a red spot by Strange's arm, wear to the corners, and whiteout on the title paste-up. In Very Good condition. Accompanied by a copy of the issue.
