    Description

Dan Adkins and Vince Colletta Sub-Mariner #72 Splash Page 1 Original Art (Marvel, 1974). Namor is putting the splash into this splash page with his splashy new threads designed by Reed Richards of the Fantastic Four. The Prince of Atlantis didn't wear this outfit for long, but it sure was a great look for him. The page was created in ink over graphite and blue pencil on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15" (including the stat paste-up header and indicia). There is a bit of whiteout art correction on his belt, some stripped-in text corrections taped from the reverse side, and a production oil stain on the toe of the sneaker in the foreground. The board is toned with some handling and minor stains. In Very Good condition.
