    Description

Dame Darcy Meat Cake #10 Complete 5-Page Story Original Art (Fantagraphics, 2000). Dame Darcy recounts Richard Dirt's "Tour Diary" of a trip through the Southwest. Stops include Nor'lens (and the grave of Voodoo Queen Marie Laveau), and Fairyland, TX (where a watermelon fight breaks out). Charming and quirky, her stories feature strange characters that you wish were your friends also. The pages were created in ink on bright white 9" x 12" Bristol board. Some text corrections (whiteout or paste-up), and pinholes in the marginal corners. Overall in Excellent condition.
