    Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson Superman #249 Story Page 9 Original Art (DC Comics, 1971). Metropolis heralds the arrival (first appearance) of Terra-Man, a character seemingly from a spaghetti western, yet with super-scientific weapons. From the Silver Anniversary Superman story, "The Challenge of Terra-Man." Created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10' x 15". The bottom panel is a stat paste-up of Duotone background art and the magnificent Pegasus and Terra-Man have been drawn on with ink and graphite and white paint. With light marginal toning, a trimmed top border, and tape and adhesive residue. In Very Good condition. From the Murphy Anderson Collection.
