Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson Action Comics #393 Superman Cover Original Art (DC, 1970). By Krypton, will Superman keep his word -- even if it means the death of this boy's father? Fear not, for this is the yarn, "Superman Meets Super-Houdini." Curt Swan's distinctive pencils and Murphy Anderson's brilliant inks are united in perfection. The dramatic layout also suggests that ace cover designer Carmine Infantino might have had a hand in this cover's creation. This early Bronze Age blockbuster has an image area of 10" x 15" and the piece has been matted alongside a copy of the published comic, to an overall size of 23" x 20". The art is in Excellent condition, with minimal whiteout and glue stains.
