Curt Swan and Murphy Anderson Action Comics #381 Cover Original Art, Color Guide, and Cover Proof Group of 3 (DC, 1969). The U.N. gets a name-check on this cover that makes Superman "The Dictator of Earth!" The cover was produced by the "Swanderson" team in ink over blue pencil on Bristol board with a matted image area of 9.5" x 14.75". The logo and header dressing are all paste-up stats. The caption box and word balloon are hand-lettered paste-ups. The jagged word balloon has come loose and been re-attached with tape in a slightly higher position, leaving glue residue below it. There is a 1.5" rip in the lower left side into the image area. This cover art is glued to a 14.5" x 20" mat. Also included are a hand-colored silver print color guide and a printer's cover proof. Both of these are very faded and stained. They are in Fair Condition. The original art is in Good condition.More Information: EDIT: Art is glued to the mat backing.
