    Curt Swan and George Klein Action Comics #304 Splash Page 1 Original Art (DC, 1963). Silver Age legend, Curt Swan, turned in this amazing splash page that captures the charm of those days. Lana Lang even makes an appearance. The story was originally titled "The Day Superman was Defeated," but subsequently changed to "The Interplanetary Olympics." This page is ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13" x 17.25". It is slightly tanned and missing the logo and corrected title paste-ups, leaving glue residue visible. Otherwise in Excellent condition. There are three other pages from this story in this same auction!
