Warren Kremer - Original Cover Art for Richie Rich and Cadbury #1 (Harvey, 1977). Richie Rich, the poor little rich boy, is served his allowance by his perfect butler, Cadbury, in this classy cover from 1977. Many people credit artist Warren Kremer, who drew this cover, as being the creator of Richie Rich and you can see he certainly knows these characters. Interestingly enough, this art was drawn at actual printed size, so the line work is crisp and tight. This swank pen and ink original is 6.5" x 10.5" on a 8.5" x 12" piece of bristol board. The art is very clean, with some slight staining along three of the sides. Serve yourself to this sumptuous Harvey classic!
