    Description

Vince Colletta Lovers #70 Cover Original Art (Marvel/Atlas, 1955). Vince "The Prince" Colletta is well-remembered for his inking during Marvel's salad days of the 1960s-70s. But many newer fans have never seen his knock-out pencil and ink work from Marvel's 1950s romance titles! Gorgeous work with lovely detail. Check out this young lady's delicate face and hair, and her beau's fine pomp and suit jacket! Rendered twice-up scale in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 13.5" x 20". The logo, (very large) CCA stamp, and the pre-Marvel "Atlas" corner box are all original stats. There is whiteout art correction on the toned page. Signed in the image area. In Very Good condition.
