Description
Vic Prezio Magnus, Robot Fighter #16 Cover Painting Original Art (Gold Key, 1966). Magnus, doing what he does best... fighting robots! This is the cover for the story "Cloud-Cloddie, Go Home!" The "Gophs" in the background represent a story element that carried through to the Valiant Comics revival of the character in the early 1990s. The cover text proclaimed "Aided by a talking neo-dog, Magnus invades the hazardous domain of the vicious Gophs". The cover is painted in acrylic on Bristol board, with the 13" x 18" image area handsomely matted out to 18" x 24". In Excellent condition.More information about Vic Prezio.
