DescriptionTrina Robbins Mama! Dramas #nn Cover Original Art (Educomics, 1978). Noted comic creator Trina Robbins was a front line contributor in the feminist cartoonist movement that started in the Underground Comix genre and became more mainstream through the 1970s and up. In this publication, she and six other female artists touched on the realities of being a working mom, dealing with divorce and single-motherhood, and child education. Signed and dated 1977 by the artist in the image area, this piece is created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 14". The board is lightly toned. The logo is an original art paste-up, with a crease and a rip in it. There is glue residue from the missing price paste-up that overlapped the logo and the art board. Other than noted, this is in Excellent condition with great eye-appeal. From the Eric Sack Collection.
