    Description

    Travis Charest and Ray McCarthy Batman #488 Cover Original Art (DC, 1993). Robin the Boy Wonder teams with Azrael (who had just first appeared in October of 1992). It would be just a few months before Jean-Paul Valley (Azrael) would find himself in the Batman costume after Bane had broken Bruce Wayne's back in the July issue of this title. A striking pre-Knightfall cover crafted in ink over graphite on bright white DC cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". It has an acetate overlay with the logo (painted from the reverse side). The corner box, CCA stamp, and UPC box are all stat paste-ups. It is Plexiglas front framed to 13" x 19". In Excellent condition.
