Description

Tony DeZuniga House of Mystery #196 Cover Original Art (DC Comics, 1971). Powerful imagery, here, consistent with editor Joe Orlando's revamping of DC's long-running House of Mystery into more of a horror title. (A near-constant element with Orlando involves children in danger.) The ritualistic scene dovetails with this issue's lead-off story, "A Girl and Her Dog." Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with an image area of 10" x 15". Moderate toning. Adhesive staining on pasted logo. Very Good condition.
