Description
Terry Dodson and Rachel Dodson Captain Marvel #4 and Ms. Marvel #25 Interconnecting Variant Covers Original Art (Marvel, 2008). The past meets the present in this dynamic pair of Secret Invasion crossover covers, as Ms. Marvel (Carol Danvers), in her iconic lightning bolt costume, rescues a "first-appearance" Captain Mar-Vell on the left -- while a classic Mar-Vell, clad in his signature Hala Star suit, saves the "first-appearance" Ms. Marvel on the right. Two legendary characters appear in two of their most iconic looks as they flee Skrull impostors of the Avengers, including Spider-Woman, Hulk, Giant-Man, Captain America, Thor, and Wasp. Rendered in ink over blue pencil and graphite across two Bristol boards with a combined image area of 20.75" x 15.75" by the husband and wife Dodson duo, with blue pencil marks, minor smudging, and tape on the reverse, which also features preliminary sketches.
