Description

Su Gumen Secrets of Young Brides #3 Cover Original Art (Charlton, 1975). This "All New" Charlton title, revived briefly during the last gasp of romance comics being published, stuck around for only 9 issues, but they all boasted gorgeous cover art. This one from issue #3 is beautifully illustrated with the expressive brush work. Rendered in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". Board is lightly toned with light handing and edge wear. Title is a paste-up stat, also toned. Glue residue in margins and spot staining at the bottom. The Charlton Bullseye corner bullet and Comics Code Authority stamp are a modern reproduction from a PDF, blown up and affixed to the board. In Very Good condition.
