    Description

Steve Bissette and John Totleben Saga of the Swamp Thing #38 Cover Original Art (DC, 1985). Looking at this art up close will give you new appreciation for the artistry of Bissette and Totleben. The intricate crosshatching translated only partially to the printed page, and this and other effects ensure that each of the creatures is creepy in its own individual way! Of course this is from the classic run of Alan Moore as writer of the title. Signed by both artists in the bottom margin. Ink and white paint over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15". Slightly toned. DC logo stat is attached with tape. There's a half-inch tear at right that does not reach the image area. Very Good condition.
