Description

Stephane Roux Birds of Prey: Metropolis or Dust Trade Paperback Cover Original Art Group of 2 (DC, 2008). A fierce and gorgeous image of the Birds that graced the cover of a reprint trade that included Birds of Prey #113-117. The cover was constructed in two elements. The first is a dynamic image of the team (featuring Lady Blackhawk, Black Alice, Misfit, Huntress, and Oracle) created in ink over red pencil on bright white 12.75" x 18" Bristol board. The second piece is the Superman billboard image that appears in the background. It was produced on a separate piece of light cream 11" x 8" art paper in ink over red pencil. This piece is signed "S.R." in the image area. Both are in Excellent condition.
