Skip Williamson Skip Williamson's Comix & Stories Featuring Snappy Sammy Smoot Cover Original Art (Kitchen Sink Press, 1979). Williamson's signature Underground Comix character beams from this large-scale pen-brush-and-ink gem -- which contains a wealth of fine-point shading design that was obscured in the published full-color presentation. The piece contains two distinct titles. The author's original logo, Skip Williamson Presents the Collected Snappy Sammy Smoot, is part of the original base artwork. The published title appears as a photostatic overlay flap, attached with production tape. Ink over graphite on Bristol board, with painted white highlights. Image area, 10.5" x 15.5". Faint toning. Excellent condition. From the Eric Sack Collection.
