DescriptionSkip Williamson - Original Back Cover Art, "The Barfly" (1991). To quote this piece: "the world at large is beginning to slip into focus and I don't like what I see." Published several times as the back cover to the Chicago magazine, The Barfly, this clean, stylized work brings a smile to 4 out of 5 bartenders surveyed. Based on a panel that Williamson had drawn for Bijou Funnies, this original piece was commissioned as the signature image for the Bucktown Pub, and was also used on several t-shirts. It measures 12.75" x 13.75" with an image area of 9.5" x 9".
