Description
Samuel Armstrong Goofy and the Tiger Hunt Cover Original Art (Whitman, 1954). This sumptuous painting by Samuel Armstrong was created for Whitman's Disney Tell-a-Tale book series and is based on the 1945 Walt Disney animated short "Tiger Trouble." Note the whimsical bite marks in Goofy's name! Produced in gouache on illustration board with an image area of 10.75" x 11.25". The logo is on a separate acetate overlay and has slight paint loss.
