DescriptionSal Buscema Captain America #219 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1978). It was rare for Bucky to appear on a cover in the 1970s run of the title, for obvious reasons: he was dead! But this memorable 1940s flashback story made it possible. Note that while this is the original art, a number of changes were made for the production cover: the Cap figure and other elements were repositioned, and background details were added. Also, the villain Lyle Dekker, who has hair in the story, was made bald for the cover, no doubt to avoid distracting from the text elements. This slam-bang cover has an image area of 10" x 16", and it's in Excellent condition.
