Description
Sal Buscema Captain America #137 Cover Spider-Man and Falcon Original Art (Marvel, 1971). Captain America and his partner the Falcon charge off "To Stalk The Spider-Man!" The Falcon had only been getting cover billed in the logo since issue #134, and he was still in his original green and gold costume. "Our Pal Sal" Buscema turned in a fine looking cover design, featuring a looming Spider-Man, created in ink over blue pencil on World Color cover stock Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The corner box and logo are stat paste-ups. Some of the original art was continued up onto the stat. Signed by Buscema in the lower left. The toned board has several production oil stains and some corner wrinkles and wear. In Very Good condition.More information about Sal Buscema. See also: Buscema, Sal Artist.
