Description
Sal Buscema Avengers Annual #4 Cover Masters of Evil Original Art (Marvel, 1971). The House of Ideas' mightiest heroes charge at Baron Zemo's Masters of Evil in a reprise of the events in The Avengers #6. It's an all-out battle scene! See... The second Black Knight on his winged stallion Aragorn, the Radioactive Man, and the Melter! Marvel at... Giant Man, Iron Man, Thor, the Wasp, and the Hulk! This is one of the few times that all five of the founding Avengers have appeared with later-addition Captain America (arguably the most famous Avenger ever) on a single cover. Produced in ink over graphite on World Color Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The logo, and price/issue numbers are all printed paste-ups. The word balloons and bottom caption are stat paste-ups also. The paste-up text above the price, and the two pieces below it are all replacement paste-ups.
