Description
Sal Buscema and Frank Giacoia Captain America #154 Cover Original Art (Marvel, 1972). The mighty Avengers are on hand for this striking cover! It features Cap's partner The Falcon (and Redwing), along with his teammates The Vision, Iron Man, Hawkeye, and the Scarlet Witch. Fleeing from them is the 1950s Captain America, in an issue from early in the Steve Englehart writing run on the title. The cover was created in ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15". The logo and header info are printed paste-ups. The Vision's text balloon and the lower title are stat paste-ups. The Falcon's word balloon "Stop him! It's a matter of life and death!!" is missing.
