Description
Ryan Dunlavey Action Philosophers #4 Cover and Story Page Original Art Group of 2 (Evil Twin Comics, 2005). This group from Fred Van Lente and Ryan Dunlavey's comprehensive cartoon history of the world includes the cover art to issue four, which features headshot portraits of Machiavelli and Karl Marx alongside the Pope, Uncle Sam, and Susie Homemaker facing a firing squad. It also includes a story page from the Thomas Jefferson portion of the series that shows the consequences of his not dealing with the problem of slavery sooner. Both were created with ink over blue pencil on Bristol board; the cover has an image area of 11" x 13.5", and the story page measures 8" x 12".
