DescriptionRuss Heath The Brave and the Bold Imaginary Cover Original Art (DC, 1998). This artwork for an imaginary issue of Brave and the Bold is not a hoax, but it sure is a dream! In the mid 1950s, Russ Heath drew the Golden Gladiator's adventures in the earliest issues of Brave and the Bold. Co-features The Viking Prince and the Silent Knight each had their own solo covers, however Golden Gladiator only shared the cover with them on the first issue. In 1998, Russ Heath drew the cover for an imaginary issue of The Brave and the Bold finally giving GG his own solo cover. The piece is ink and water color over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of approximately 11.5" x 16". It is affixed to a matting board and ready to frame. In Excellent condition.
