Description
Ross Andru and Romeo Tanghal Weird War Tales #113 G. I. Robot Cover Original Art (DC, 1982). Who better than Metal Men co-creator, and DC war comic vet, Ross Andru to illustrate a G. I. Robot cover, for a yarn written by the other MM co-creator, Robert Kanigher? Even with its understated "Code-approved" restrictions, Andru's over-the-top cover for this sci-fi "head butt" scene is a real spine-tingler. This piece has an image area of 9.75" x 15". Aside from some overall light paper aging and blue penciling, the art is in Excellent condition. Signed at the lower left, near the blank UPC box.Lookup the Comic Book in our Guide
