Zalme and the ever-unlucky Forbush Man (still drying out) bring you Marvel's blazing August calendar! David Letterman grins his way in, Spider-Man and his black-suited twin swing by to salute Rick Leonardi and Bob McLeod, The Thing belts out birthday cheers for Jack "The King" Kirby, and Wolverine lights up for Terry Austin with a snikt and a smolder. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 14" x 9". Light toning, with heavier toning around paste-ups, glue residue staining, missing text paste-up, stat logo paste-up, registration tape in margins, whiteout corrections, marginal credits paste-up, and minor smudging.
